La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Elkhart

As a 20 year old on a ski trip, it felt like a safe hotel and area and was the only hotel around that would let us stay there as other hotels have 21+ check in, while it was 18+ at this one.

If you’re getting off the turnpike, this is a super easy location to get to: just drive straight! Easy to find and the night staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was quite good!

The breakfast was good. You need to change it up a bit. Have bacon once in awhile, sausage patties instead of links. We enjoyed the room. Nice and cozy.

I love LaQuinta hotels,been staying at them foryears,tried to book one in Minnesota, but got tricked by price line and wound up booking a Holiday Inn,which I hate,what I like about the LaQunitas is the suites they are perfect for mu wife and I we both have medical challenges, it's a great place to stay

This seems trivial, but the pictures on the wall created a home-like feeling with images of local historic buildings - NOT some random art that is repeated in many chain hotels. The bed and pillows were great. The breakfast selections were very good - the eggs were perfectly cooked and there was yogurt! I am so glad to have a walk-in shower and a strong-stream shower head. The location provided a long walk opportunity the adjacent shopping center - good when you have a dog who needs a long walk.
